Soft Pastel

Leah began working in soft pastel in 2025 and quickly earned Signature Member status with the MidAmerica Pastel Society. With a lifelong foundation in drawing and a BFA in Painting, she was drawn to pastel for its unique balance between the two—allowing her to both construct form and paint with color simultaneously. Her work explores light, atmosphere, and the quiet presence of the natural world—particularly the landscapes and wildlife of the Indiana Dunes—with pieces accepted into multiple juried exhibitions.
