About the Artist

Artist Leah Romano McMeen

Leah Romano McMeen is a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in La Porte, Indiana. She works primarily with oil, acrylic, pastels, and watercolor, blending realism with expressive abstraction. Her work draws inspiration from nature and daily life on her small hobby farm. As a mother of five, she weaves themes of family, growth, and resilience into her art. She holds 25 years of graphic design experience, and has spent the last several years running the agency Openhill with her husband Todd. Leah earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Toledo.

In between juggling kids activities and wrangling goats and chickens, she is accepting commissions and available for exhibitions. Feel free to reach out via the Contact Page.
