Three Sisters Pastel And Poster

I created a soft pastel of the Three Sisters, a trio of bald cypress trees planted near Clear Lake in La Porte, Indiana. These special trees were said to be given as saplings at the 1893 Chicago World Fair, brought back to Indiana by a doctor. These amazing trees can live over 600 years! I then designed this painting into a WPA-style poster.
