Winter Visitor To The Dunes

Snowy owl soft pastel, based on a gorgeous rare bird that spent a couple weeks in northwest Indiana and attracted a lot of attention. I got to visit her twice before she flew away.
This painting has been designed as one of my South Shore vintage style posters.

Winter Visitor To Wisconsin Snowy Owl Poster

The same owl visited Wisconsin for several weeks before heading down to Indiana, so I designed a poster for Wisconsin, also! The bird was identified due to an injury on its wing and its eye. Fine art prints are available in several sizes here.
