Whooping Crane Passing Through

Watercolor and acrylic on watercolor canvas

16" × 20"

A mixture of expressive brush strokes and texture, somewhat abstract meets representational. The whooping crane is a rare endangered North American bird, with only a little over 800 in existence. Whooping Cranes will migrate with the sandhill cranes and be found in pastures and fields and waterways as they migrate together.
