This was painted on wood panel. The piece was sold to a friend in London. Sumac, I would later learn, makes a wonderful lemonade substitute! I was drawn to its almost architectural form as trees growing along the sides of the road, and had been working the abstract backgrounds into these plant studies to create something new.
