This is a watercolor on Yupo paper, which is a very thin flexible plastic. Watercolor doesn't absorb in like it does on paper, and the paint is easily reactivated. So layering is tricky due to that aspect, and yet it can be easily removed and wiped off or even scratched off. It's a very different surface to work with!
